Chapter 5- I Get Shoved in a Locker.....It's Not What You Think
I spent the rest of that weekend trying to relax, but it was almost impossible. My mind was going a million miles an hour, trying to make sense of everything. I thought being turned into a girl was weird enough. Not only that, but now I can use fireballs? I could tell my "normal" life would never be the same. Aunt Heidi, bless her heart, could tell something wasn't right. That Sunday, as we ate dinner, she looked at me. I was staring at my plate, barely eating. She cleared her throat.
"Joseph? Something wrong?"
"Huh?" I looked up from my food. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine."
"Are you sure?" She asked, putting her fork down. "You don't seem like yourself."
"I'm fine. Really." I lied. I couldn't tell her the truth. She'd think I was crazy if I told her I was thinking about the fact that I could turn into a fireball-throwing girl.
